Flyer for the Dim Mak Collection booth at the Electric Daisy Carnival which is a festival/rave thing i believe. I couldn’t find a good EDC logo to use and didn’t have time to contact them so I ended up redoing it myself, luckily its done with the grooviest font out there Candice. I think they switched out the “a’s” with another font tho, but no ones lookin that close ; )
Shirt made with the ‘Spraypaint’ type treatment I did originally for the Dim Mak Streeteam. Printed on a super soft heathered tee it’ll be your new fav. Check em out on urbanoutfitters.com HERE.
The latest and greatest signing to Dim Mak is Motor, who just released a remix of Kanye West’s Robocop. Here’s the AD I put together, I was going for a metallic retro 80’s feel, with a tad of sci-fi:
Kanye put up a link to Steve Aoki’s new NASA remix ‘Gifted’ on his blog today, and used the graphic I put together for it. It’s the little things that count. and here’s a snapshot!
Put this banner together earlier today, I really like NASA’s album cover/logo/music video, whoever does their art direction or designs is really on top of it.
While strolling down Boson’s version of Rodeo Drive, Newbury Street last Sunday I came across a Karmaloop store. I had no idea that they existed outside of the internet and the MAGIC tradeshow and I of course checked it out. Jacqueline found a Dim Mak ‘Knock Off’ tee on the sale rack for $10 and I found the Supras I’d been drooling over on the internet for the last few days. To make things even more awesome everything in the store was 20% off. I wasn’t really feeling the white laces but they supplied a blueish grey pair that looks great on them. I think they are the same color that the NS grey tye dye’s have on in all the pics. Now I just have to leave the house to break em in.
I put together this flyer to be handed out at coachella, this is the first time that the public can get a peak at some of the new DMC designs. I do think Spring/Summer 09 will be the best yet, still can’t believe Parra did a design. The DM Tuesdays logo has got a new look, done by Scott of thinktankdesigns which is cool and I did the new Banana Split logo – oh yeah, Banana Split moved to Bardot, not sure why but LAX was sweet, it looked like a retro spaceship, like my old dentist office. That place was so rad.. with their NES and sliding doors..
